- Only in Miami
-
"Only in Miami" is a song by Bette Midler, first appearing on her sixth studio album No Frills (album) and then later on her 1993 greatest hits album Experience the Divine, it tells of a sad girl who longs to be back in her native Cuba and that Only in Miami does Cuba seem so far away, the song is a jolly Latino upbeat song compared to some of the more sombre Midler classics such as Wind Beneath My Wings and From A Distance. In 1984 it was used in the pilot episode of Miami Vice titled Brother's Keeper. It was written by Max Gronenthal (later of .38 Special fame) and Scott Delawanna.
