One Bad Son is a Canadian rock band from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Origin
The band was formed in 2004. Two full length albums have been released by independent record label Versailles Records in New York. The third album is being completed in Vancouver, with an expected release in 2011. It is being produced by Danny Craig, drummer for Canadian band Default[1]

Live performances
In 2007, the band won a contest of over 100 regional applicants to open a concert in Regina for Grammy-award winning hard rock band Godsmack. In the crowd was a local promoter who offered the band an opening slot for Buckcherry and Default on New Years Day 2007 at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon, following which Default invited the band to join them on tour the following summer. The band currently embarks on Western Canadian tours roughly every 3 months.

- "Sun/Fire" has been in the Top 3 of the Arts Board-funded, fan-voted TheSaskTop30.com for 10 months.
- The band was voted "Artist of the Year" for 2008 by Saskatchewan music fans on TheSaskTop30.com
- The band was recently named "Band of the Week" on Montreal’s rock site RockandRollReport.com
