Carrabin, Western Australia

Carrabin is a small town located about convert|43|km|mi|0 east-northeast of Merredin, on the railway line between Merredin and Southern Cross in Western Australia.

The town was gazetted in 1912, and took its name from the already existing railway siding located adjacent to the townsite. It is an Aboriginal name of unknown meaning. [LandInfo WA|c|C|2007-06-08]

It serves as a stop on the Prospector rural train service.
