Oak Forest, Miami

Oak Forest is an unincorporated community in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. It is located just west of the city of Aventura and just east of Ives Estates. It is considered the most upper-class and high quality neighboorhood in the Highland Lakes-Sky Lake area.

Residency

The Oak forest gated community has been voted by its residents, and others from surrounding areas, to be the nicest gated living community of the Highland Lakes-Sky Lake area. Its houses have benn voted "nicest houses in Dade" by OF Weekly. The variety in structure and design of the houses and landscaping are like nowhere else.

Recreation

The Oak Forest people enjoy many recreational activities as a team, and individually. Some people inside the O.F. community band together to form a group titled OFG. The OFG team has repeatedly defeated Highland Lakes Poosuois and Sunny Isles Wannabes in the regional basketball, football, and prize shooting competitions, earning the rank as "Best Community in the Highland Lakes-Sky Lake area". Also they won the biggest tokers regional faceoff.

Security

The neighboorhood of Oak Forest is guarded by two professionally trained security guards at the two guard posts at all times. Unlike other neighboohoods in the area ( Highland Lakes, Enchanted Lakes), the guards take down license plate numbers, thoroughlly doing their proper jobs. There is always a roving state trooper patrolling officer on duty, escalating the security in Oak Forest beyond the plateau of surrounding neighboorhoods.
