History
The OKsystem software company began operations with four people in leased spaces in November 1990. In the first year after the Velvet revolution a whole series of companies appeared. The majority of them, however, disappeared over time or their owners, names, subject of business etc. changed. For twenty years (1990–2010) OKsystem has retained its name and has almost the same top management as well as its main focus on the development of software and the provision of related services. After twenty years the founders continue to bear a significant portion of the responsibility for the operational management as well as the strategic development of the company. Annual revenues have gradually risen from several million CZK. The team has grown in tandem with the revenues and so there are now over 250 employees (2010). The partners are helped in their management duties by professional directors and other experienced project managers, head analysts and programmers.
