O2 Broadband is a broadband Internet access service offered by Telefónica O2 U.K., a subsidiary of Telefónica Europe.

History
In June 2006 , O2 purchased Be Unlimited, an internet service provider in the United Kingdom for £50 million.[1] On 15 October 2007 , O2 launched a broadband service, which offers discounts for O2 mobile phone customers. The O2 Broadband service uses the Be network, the first broadband service to use ADSL2+.
In late June 2011 Felix Geyer, O2's head of home broadband announced a fibre optic service that will directly compete with BT Infinity. This service will utilise FTTC technology, speeds and pricing have yet to be decided. [2]
O2 wireless box
The O2 wireless box is a wireless residential gateway router distributed by Telefónica O2 U.K. It is based on the 802.11g standard and also supports 802.11b devices.[3] The device connects to the Internet using a standard ADSL2+ connection.
