Novoalexandrovsky District (Russian: Новоалекса́ндровский райо́н) is an administrative^[2] and municipal^[3] district (raion), one of the 26 in Stavropol Krai, Russia. The area of the district is 2,015 square kilometers (778 sq mi).^[2] Its administrative center is the town of Novoalexandrovsk. District's population: 65,490 (2010 Census preliminary results);^[5] 67,065 (2002 Census);^[9] 58,630 (1989 Census).^[10] Population of Novoalexandrovsk accounts for 40.9% of the district's population.^[5]
