Neftekumsky District (Russian: Нефтеку́мский райо́н) is an administrative^[2] and municipal^[3] district (raion), one of the 26 in Stavropol Krai, Russia. The area of the district is 3,797 square kilometers (1,466 sq mi).^[2] Its administrative center is the town of Neftekumsk.^[2] District's population: 68,784 (2010 Census preliminary results);^[5] 70,902 (2002 Census);^[9] 59,775 (1989 Census).^[10] Population of Neftekumsk accounts for 40.3% of the district's population.^[5]
