It offers Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Swedish in Vaasa, Turku, Helsinki, Espoo, Raseborg, Jakobstad and Nykarleby.
The university was formed on August 1, 2008, by the merging of the Sydväst Polytechnic and the Swedish Polytechnic.
