"TUAS", Finnish "Turun ammattikorkeakoulu", Swedish "Åbo Yrkeshögskola") is a Finnishinstitute of technology ("Ammattikorkeakoulu ") located in the city ofTurku , in the region ofFinland Proper . The institute began operations as a temporary polytechnic in autumn1992 . At the moment, the establishment has approximately 9,500 students and 700 members of staff, making it the largestpolytechnic in Finland.Before
