Novell Vibe Developer(s) Novell Initial release April 6, 2011 Type Web application Website Novell Vibe Novell Vibe is an real time collaborative editing (RTCE) software platform under development from Novell released in April 2011. The software is one of the first major developments outside Google to utilize the Google Wave Federation Protocol.[1] Vibe was originally an autonomous project, but after the launch of Google Wave, Novell began working to allow interoperability between the two platforms.[2]

Service
Vibe will first be offered as a cloud service, but it is expected that Novell will offer standalone software to enterprises for local deployment, as is currently the case with Groupwise, Teaming, and other Novell software.
Name change
Novell Vibe was formerly known as Novell Pulse.[3]
