(1996)"Nothin' Move But the Money"
(1998)"Nothin' Move But the Money" was the lead single released from Mic Geronimo's second album, Vendetta.
The song was produced by Sean "Puffy" Combs and Daven "Prestige" Vanderpool from the production team, The Hitmen and featured vocals from Combs and R&B singer Kelly Price. The official remix featured verses from Black Rob and DMX and was produced by another Hitmen member Nashiem Myrick.
Though the song became Geronimo's most successful, becoming his only to reach the Billboard Hot 100, he was criticised for the direction he took for the song and working with Puff Daddy. Unlike his previous singles, which used more of an underground/hardcore style, "Nothin' Move But the Money" had more of a pop sound to it. Geronimo was also criticised for the song's promotional music video. Directed by Chris Robinson, who replaced original director Hype Williams, the video showed Geronimo rapping in a room surrounded by 100 dollar bills with back-up dancers wearing a shiny suit, similar to those worn by Puff Daddy and members of the Bad Boy Family.
