Eureka Stadium

Eureka Stadium

Eureka Stadium, formerly known as Northern Oval, is an Australian rules football ground in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia.

Eureka Stadium is the home ground of the North Ballarat Football Club of the Victorian Football League and the North Ballarat Rebels of the TAC Cup.

The ground has been flagged as a potential future home of up to four low-drawing North Melbourne Football Club AFL games per year following an announcement that $15m may be spent on the venue to transform it.[1]

Eureka Stadium currently has a capacity of around 10,000 and features a main grandstand with limited seating and social club on the main wing.

In 2010, Eureka Stadium hosted a NAB Challenge match between North Melbourne and Hawthorn. It again hosted a NAB Challenge match for the 2011 competition, between North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs.[2]
