Nohri

Nohri

Nohri is Sindhi Rajput clan of the Tharparkar region of Sindh, Pakistan. The Tharparkar region, perhaps not surprisingly as it is along the border with Rajasthan and Kutch in India, is home to the densest concentrations of Rajput tribes. The Mangrio, Bhatti, Raheemo and Nohri (Arbabs) make up a large part of Rajput population. This region is also home to small number of Rathores and Sodhas, most of whom have remained Hindu, although Umarkot area is home to some Muslim Rathore.

In addition to Sindhi Rajputs, the Mirpur Khas and Tharparkar area is also home to immigrant Khanzada and Qaimkhani Rajputs, originally from Rajasthan and Haryana in India.
