No Place to Go is the first single by My Bloody Valentine.^[1] It was the stand-out track on Geek!^[2] It is by far My Bloody Valentine's lowest rated single on Rate Your Music.^[3] Kevin Shields has called it an "absolute failure", and "unrepresentative of what [My Bloody Valentine] wanted to do."^[4] Both sides of the single (No Place to Go and Moonlight) were three minutes and twenty seconds long.^[5]

Style

The song is sung in a style reminiscent of Ian Curtis.^[6] The song was also influenced by The Cramps and The Birthday Party.^[7] There is also a rockabilly influence.^[8]
