Niramaruthur is a village in Malappuram district in the state of Kerala, India.^[1]

Niramaruthur was under Tanaloor Panchayath, and divided in 1997, the area included Unniyal beach, also two reveres joining in Ponnani is touching Niramaruthur area.This was a part of the Vettattnad kingdom in medieval times.

The name originated from Malabar and is related to the mountain valleys
