Niramaruthur is a village in Malappuram district in the state of Kerala, India.[1]

Niramaruthur was under Tanaloor Panchayath, and divided in 1997, the area included Unniyal beach, also two reveres joining in Ponnani is touching Niramaruthur area.This was a part of the Vettattnad kingdom in medieval times.

The name originated from Malabar and is related to the mountain valleys

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Niramaruthur had a population of 25547 with 12391 males and 13156 females.[1]
