Niranjan Babu

Niranjan Babu is the chief editor of The Astrological eMagazine [1] and a scholar in Vastu, Astrology and related subjects. He is also the chairman of The Raman & Rajeswari Research Foundation [2] which promotes Vedic culture. He was the Editor, CEO and Publisher of The Astrological Magazine [3], started by his father Bangalore Venkata Raman.

He was involved with his father Dr. B. V. Raman's The Astrological Magazine for almost four decades. Dr. B. V. Raman was impressed with his scholarship in Astrology, Vastu and other vedic subjects. He got involved with the Horoscope Section immediately after his education and later became the publisher of The Astrological Magazine. Dr. Raman organized the first all India symposium conference on Vaastu Shastra. It was big success with more than 1500 delegates attending it.

He is also an expert scholar in Vastu Shastra. He has written many books which are also available in Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam etc. Many well known newspapers like The Hindu, Indian Express, Times Group Bangalore Mirror carry his article on Vastu Shastra. He has given predictions in the Times Group Paper Bangalore Mirror about Barack Obama's win and 2009 Loka Sabha Elections.

Niranjan Babu has various honors to his credit including the "Asthana Vidwan" award by HH Sri Ganapathi Sacchidananda Swamiji, Dattapeetham. He is also the advisor for Dharmasthala Veerendra Heggade's Dharmotthana Trust. He is also the advisor for ISKCON [4] temples in India, North America, Europe and other places.

He has authored several best seller books in English and several regional languages of India. He is an adviser for many well-known temples, complexes and institutions. He has lectured, conducted workshops (and teaching classes) and given professional consultations in India, North America, Europe and other parts of the world.

Many individuals, businesses and institutions have utilized his servicesand have greatly benefitted from his advice. He has been associated with his father and internationally reputed scholar of Vedic Astrology Dr. B. V. Raman’s work since more than thirty five years.
