Nine High (band)

Nine High is a hip hop/grime group consisting of Fraksha (Oliver Tewkesbury), Scotty Hinds and Felony (Byron Chadwick), three MCs from the United Kingdom. The group is now based in Melbourne, Australia.[1] Fraksha and Scotty Hinds now live permanently in Australia, while Felony resides in the UK.[2]

The group's name was taken from a mini cab shopfront in London.[3]

Nine High originally consisted of Fraksha, Brinks, Benny Kid and S.A.[4]

They released mixtape projects named First Take in 2005 and Take Two in 2006.[4] Their self-titled album was released in June 2009 on TAOS Records and distributed by Amphead Distribution, including the tracks "Fugs Need Hugs" and "What Bothers Me".
