Nigerien Americans are Americans of Nigerien descent. There are a small community of African immigrants in the USA. There are communities in New York City and other places. Nigerien Americans speak several African Languages, being the most spoken the Hausa and Djerma, they also speak French (as second language) and English. Not to be confused with Nigerian Americans, whom originate from Nigeria and are of different cultures.
