The New Hampshire Department of Health & Human Services is a state agency of New Hampshire, headquartered in the Brown Building in Concord.[1]
Division of Juvenile Justice Services
The Division of Juvenile Justice Services (DJJS) operates juvenile correctional facilities.[2] The division has its headquarters in Manchester.[3]
The John H. Sununu Youth Services Center, located in Manchester,[4] is the agency's long-term treatment facility. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the $29 million Sununu Youth Services Center was held on April 3, 2006. Sununu Youth Services Center holds children ages 13 through 17.[5] The Youth Detention Services Unit (YDSU) serves as the pretrial holding unit.[6]
