Straightnose pipefish (Nerophis ophidion) is a brackish water species of Pipefishes[1].
Found in the North-eastern Atlantic along the coasts of Europe from the southern Norway to Morocco, also in the Baltic, Mediterranean, and Black Seas. It is inhabits sandy bottoms, also in foulings, at depth from 2–15 m.
