Myeloid to erythroid ratio

The ratio between myeloid series and erythroid cells to access bone marrow function and other diseases of bone marrow and peripheral blood like leukemia, anemias etc. Normal myeloid to erythroid ratio is 3:1 This may increase in myelogenous leukemias . Decrease in polycythemias. And reverse in thalassemia.
