My Favorite Songwriter: Porter Wagoner, released in 1972, is the tenth solo studio album by Dolly Parton, performing the work of her duet partner Porter Wagoner. The album peaked on the U.S. country albums charts at # 33, while its single, "Washday Blues" reached # 20. "When I Sing for Him" is a gospel song that was released as a single but did not chart. "Lonely Comin' Down" also appeared on 1974's Jolene album and was later included (as was "When I Sing for Him") on the 1975 compilation Best of Dolly Parton.

The album's liner notes are written by Dolly Parton herself (who also wrote the liner notes that year to Skeeter Davis' album of Parton originals, "Skeeter Sings Dolly").

This album was released on CD for the first time on August 17, 2010, along with 1970's The Fairest of Them All.
