(2009)"Mrzim spore stvari" (English translation: I Hate Slow Things) is a pop song by the Croatian singer Ana Bebić, recorded for the Croatian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009.[1][2][3] It finished the 12th with a total of 13 points won.[4]

Song information
After the Operacija trijumf, all the contestants expressed the will to participate at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, which will be held in Moscow.[5] The Croatian Operacija trijumf contestants Igor Cukrov and Ana Bebić immediately qualified for the final event.[5] The song of Bebić, "Mrzim spore stvari", was written by Croatian composers Mira Buljan and Nenad Ničević.[6] Ninčević described the song as "different", "modern", "rebellious" and "totally western".[7]
HRT Dora 2009
With "Mrzim spore stvari" Ana Bebić took part in the Croatian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, and she was qualified directly into the finals.[2] The final event of Dora 2009 was held on 29 February 2009, and sixteen contestants took part in; Bebić performed the first.[8] Her songs received only two points from the jury and 11 points from the votes, and finished the 12th with a total of 13 points.[4] Bebić's Operacija trijumf colleague Igor Cukrov won the competition with "Lijepa Tena", the song by Tonči Huljić.[4]
