Mount Herr (85°45′S 149°32′W / 85.75°S 149.533°W) is a peak, 1,730 m, located 5 nautical miles (9 km) northwest of Mount Gould in the Tapley Mountains. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) after Lieutenant Arthur L. Herr, Jr., aircraft commander with U.S. Navy Squadron VX-6 at McMurdo Station, 1962–63 and 1963-64.
