Coordinates: 38°28′3.47″N 43°30′6.79″E / 38.4676306°N 43.5018861°E Mount Erek ( Armenian: Վարագ Լեռ, Varag Ler) is a horny mountain overlooking the city of Van in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey.
Historical sites
- The 11th century Armenian monastery of Varagavank, once the seat of the archbishop of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Van was located at the foot of the mountain, until its destruction in 1915.
