Morgan Baker Born 11 May 1997
Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaOccupation Actor Morgan Baker (born 11 May 1997) is an Australian child actor. He has been playing Callum Jones on the soap opera Neighbours since June 2008.
Career
Baker has appeared in TV commercials since he was in kindergarten and has appeared in several tele-movies, films and TV series including The Society Murders,[1] Underbelly[2] and The King.[3]
Baker is in Year Eight at secondary school, but while filming for Neighbours he is tutored on set because school is 45 minutes away.[4]
Baker has said that to succeed in acting, he knows he must focus on it completely and realises he must make some sacrifices, such as quitting his tennis lessons.[5] He also recommends getting an agent and says prospective actors must "get used to being criticised" and that being good at reading helps.[4]
Baker admits that people tell him he is "too quiet on set".[4]
A keen chef, Baker has said that if he doesn't succeed in acting he would be appearing in Ready Steady Cook and has said that he would like to appear on the programme.[4][5]
He also starred in the 2006 Tropfest Film Festival top 16 finalist Goggles.[6]
