Gérard Mestrallet

Gérard Mestrallet (born 1 April 1949, in Paris) is the Chairman of the Board and CEO of GDF Suez.^[1]

Biography

Gérard Mestrallet was born on 1 April 1949.^[1][2] He graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique of Paris and the Ecole Nationale d’Administration.^[1][2][3][4]

In 1984, he started working for Suez.^[2][3][4] He has been its Chairman and CEO since 2001.^[3][1]

He was appointed as a member of the Hong Kong Chief Executive's Council of International Advisers in the years of 1998-2005.^[5] He is the President of Association Paris EUROPLACE.^[2] He is also the President of the Fondation Agir Contre l'Exclusion (FACE).^[6]

He also serves on the Boards of Hisusa, Aguas de Barcelona, Electrabel, Saint-Gobain, and Pargesa Holding S.A..^[1][4]
