History
In 1922 the founder, Cecchini Guido, began the production of handmade furniture, then expanding over time the range of products and markets. In 1950 he was appointed knight of work from the President of the Italian Republic.
The turning point came in 1963, when the sons of the founder (Leopardo, Armando and Venanzio) undertook a process of business development, adding to the many designers.
The company's history, partly because of its development, also binds strongly to the land of origin with the participation and the promotion of several initiatives both at local (Petriano[3]) and regional (Pesaro-Urbino)[4].
The company is located a few miles from Pesaro, which in sixties was one of the most important centers for the development of Italian furnishings, the furniture industrial district of the province of Pesaro (alongside that of Brianza) became one of the main centers of production and development for what is now known today as ”Made in Italy” [5].
After several years Armando Cecchini took full control of the company developing even more the industrial purpose (also won numerous international awards including the Golden Hercules in 1988, recognized by the International Academy for Economics and Social Sciences) and directing until 2001 when he was elected honorary president and left his sons Stefano, Francesca and Paolo run the company. In 2007 he was recognized to Armando Cecchini proposal of the Council of Ministers, the honors Officer Order of Merit of Italian Republic [6]The company has experienced difficult times following the fire that in 1999 almost destroyed the entire productive part.
Today the company is run by the grandsons of the founder and expanded on a large number of international markets (China, Japan, Russia, UAE, USA, etc..) And participates in major international design fairs (Moscow[7], Cologne[8], Milan[9], Tokyo[10], Mumbay[11][12], , exc.). In 2003 implemented the ISO 9000 certification[13], and the certificate 100% Made in Italy[14].
Mobilificio Tre Ci join the National Register of Italian Manufacturers number 195.017.V. Mobilificio Tre Ci among the principal industry of durable goods in Italy (category furnishings code PS21) according to the study "Durable Italian Market" developed by "Largo Consumo" (one of the most remarkable italian study center)[15] and is mentioned in the Japanese selection of top 1000 Brand Name of furniture[16]
Since 1997, Mobilificio Tre Ci is one of the 44 founders (with Zanotta, Flou and others)"[17] of the "Consorzio Nuovi Mercati - Italian Furniture in the world ", acting in Federlegno Furniture (Federation of Italian manufacturers of wooden furniture), which was established with the aim of consolidating all over the world the success achieved by the Italian furniture "[18].Link with the Territory
The Mobilificio Tre Ci is inextricably linked to the history of the area that surrounds and, as of the date of its foundation, is involved in social work, sports and cultural activities.
