"Mississippi", is the title of a song co-written and performed by the Charlie Daniels Band. It was released in September 1979 as the second single from their 1979 album Million Mile Reflections[1]. It peaked at #19 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart and at #3 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart.
