Minerva was founded in 1990 by Dr Jerome Eisenberg, and has grown into a leading international archaeology magazine. It is published six times a year.
Minerva’s covers news from the antiquities trade and features about museums, exhibitions and excavations. Its focus has been on the ancient art and archaeology of Egypt, the Near East and the Graeco-Roman Mediterranean, but it covers a wider scope geographically and chronologically.[2]
Minerva was purchased in 2009 by the Mougins Museum of Classical Art, and is published by Clear Media, a division of the Media Circus Group, based in London.[3]
