Early life
Milly (Camilla) Hedgeland had a passion for the performing arts from a young age, and spent most of her school holidays and weekends at the local Stagecoach Theatre Arts School in Tunbridge Wells.[1]
She later had private weekly tuition at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), gaining her bronze medallion with distinction.
Hedgeland left school with 10 GCSEs and 3 A Levels.[2]
On her 19th birthday, Hedgeland was spotted dancing on a table at a club with her friends and was asked to audition for her first TV job.[3] It was within a year of leaving school, that Hedgeland began appearing on British television on a number of Satellite television stations.Television appearances
From the summer of 2007, Hedgeland was a regular presenter on Party People for 6 months, giving her experience in live TV presenting. She also appeared on Nuts TV and had a minor role in the film Hotel California.[4] In 2008, Hedgeland was Peaches Geldof's Personal Assistant in Peaches: Disappear Here, a MTV One reality show in which Peaches Geldof founds a dummy youth-orientated magazine from scratch in 12 weeks. Hedgeland also did some presenting for MTV One in 2008.[5]
Acting
2009 saw Hedgeland in the public eye once more in promotional videos for the Baroque Club, London; and in videos for Twenty-Twenty (in Forever as a cheerleader) and for KHY's Beautiful Stranger (as the beautiful stranger).[6]
Modelling
Since 2007, Hedgeland's modelling career has brought more and more high profile assignments, from a bikini shot with Front (magazine), an appearance on BBC's Dragon's Den, series 7 (modelling for Stolat Vodka) and a number of shots for The Sun newspaper's Dear Deidre and is soon to appear as a model on an application download for Apple inc's iPhone.[7]
Personal life
Hegeland describes herself as "A posh, somewhat exhibitionist girl working as commercial and lingerie model, actor and presenter in London" on her own website.[8] Her personal profile goes on to state: "My party tricks include poledancing, gymnastics and speaking Spanish. MTV described me as "an energetic, highly intelligent socialite"; I'm massively work orientated, very determined, and incredibly lucky in that I LOVE what I do. I'm blonde and I'm bubbly but I'm far from silly" [9]
