Career
He teamed up with Ekaterina Sheremetieva in 2003. Together, they are the 2007-2008 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalists. Sheremetieva broke her foot in 2006 and so she and Kuznetsov were forced to miss most of the 2006-2007 season. They also missed part of the 2008-2009 season due to injury.
Although they placed third on the day, they were later awarded the silver medal from the 2007-2008 Junior Grand Prix Final following the retroactive disqualification of Vera Bazarova & Yuri Larionov due to a positive doping sample from Larionov.
They made their senior international debut at the 2008 Nebelhorn Trophy, placing 5th.
Their partnership ended following the 2008-2009 season. Kuznetsov teamed up with Tatiana Novik in spring 2009. The team is coached by Nina Mozer in Moscow. They are the 2010 Russian junior silver medalists and placed 4th at the 2010 World Junior Championships.
