The New Middle East International School is an international school in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The school was established in 1998 and currently has about 3,900 students, mostly from Riyadh's Indian and Pakistani community. It offers both the Indian Central Board of Secondary Education and the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education curriculums. It also offers Edexcel AS and A Level classes.[1] The school has classes from Nursery to Grade 12 The school Principal is Tabassum Farooqi.[2]
Campus and facilities
The New Middle East International School is situated in the Riyadh suburb of Sulaimania. It includes five large compounds and 300 classrooms. The school has six libraries, with some 50,000 books, five science laboratories, eight computer laboratories and eight art rooms.[citation needed]
Each compound has a playground with a tennis court, volley ball court and football field. A sports room provides for indoor games such as table tennis, carrom, and chess, judo & karate, and aerobics. There are also two deep and two shallow swimming pools.[citation needed]
The school has its own fleet of buses to transport students and staff from home to school and back, as well as private buses.[citation needed]
