Mick Dyche (born 1951) is an English rock and folk guitarist and former member of 1970's soft rock band Sniff 'n' the Tears[1] who played guitars on their only major hit Driver's Seat[2] in 1978.

In an interview in 2007 former band-mate, Laurence "Loz" Netto , credits Dyche as the player of the distinctive guitar 'hook' or riff that opens the single:No, the guitar hook was Mick Dyche, I must learn to lie.
Dyche later played live - and recorded - with a range of bands and musicians including Glenn Cornick's band Wild Turkey,[4][5][6] Pat Travers Band,[7] Noel McCalla, John Illsley,[8] The Hank Wangford Band and The Maddy Prior Band[9] - amongst others. Recently played with Burton on Trent band Mona Leeza.
