Michael Jerome Reed (born August 16, 1972 in Wilmington, Delaware) is a retired American professional football player who played three games with the National Football League's Carolina Panthers as a defensive back during the 1995 and 1996 seasons.^[1] Reed was drafted in the seventh round of the 1995 NFL Draft as the final pick of the expansion Carolina Panthers. He played three games (one in 1995 and two in 1996) and registered two tackles.
