Mian Muhammad Aslam (Punjabi, Urdu: میاں محمد اسلم) is a well known lawyer and was the Vice President of Lahore High Court Bar Accociation for the year 2008-09.

Early life and education

He originates from Chak No. 91 J.B. a village in Toba Tek Singh District, in Punjab of Arain Family. Mian Muhammad Aslam took his post graduation degree in Economics from Punjab University and was conferred with Role of Honor by the University. He remained Chairman Student Affairs Committee while studying in Punjab University. He became the member of Lahore Bar Association and Lahore High court Bar after passing Law Degree from the same University. Earlier to law degree he also did his Masters in English from Islamia College (Lahore) Civil Lines, while studying in college he was Chief Prefect and was made Chairman Advisory Council of the College.He also attended National Security Workshop in National Defence University, Pakistan.[1]

Political career

He started his practice in 1990 and successfully emerged as one of the best lawyers of Punjab province. He is a very sincere lawyer his chamber's name is Mian Aslam & Company, Toba Tek Singh law chamber situated on 1 Turner Road Lahore. He was given the enrollment as an advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in 2008.He is also life member of Supreme Court Bar Association Pakistan.Mian Muhammad Aslam contested the election of Lahore High Court Bar Association in 2007 and 2008.He defeated in 2007 from very narrow margin and elected in 2008 as Vice President of Lahore High Court Bar Association for term 2008-2009.[2]: He also contested the election of Punjab Bar Council in 2004 and 2009 from Toba Tek Singh District Seat. He has Strong group in Lawyers community not only in Lahore High Court, but also in his home town.He has vary influence in Toba Tek Singh Bar politics.Mian Masood Shahid Ex. Member Punjab Bar Council leads his group in Toba Tek singh.Evary year his group clean sweep in Toba Tek Singh Bar Election.

4. Chairman Tourism Committee Lahore High Court Bar Association, Lahore.


He played an active role in the Lawyers Movement and he frequently held rallies in support of the deposed judges.[3] He remained in Jail for one week when Gen. Pervez Musharraf imposed emergency on 3 November 2007.[4]
