The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition, Inc. (The Fair), located in Miami, Florida, is known as one of Miami-Dade County’s largest annual family attractions.[citation needed] The fair is held by a private board of directors, and is a non-profit organization. It attracts nearly 600,000 visitors each year. The fair offers close to 100 rides, 50 games, 170 food vendors, close to 50,000 student and adult exhibits, 130 merchandise shops, competitions, the World of Agriculture, an ice show and circus.
It is located in southwest Miami at the Fair Expo Center on Coral Way (SW 24th St) at 112th Avenue and offers free parking as well as VIP parking for a fee.
The 60th Annual Fair will take place from March 17th, to April 3rd, 2011.

Prices
The Fair offers unlimited rides for $25 on Monday-Friday.
The Entrance to the Fair costs $10. If you arrive before 5PM, it is a reduced price of $5. The first day of the Fair is $5 entrance all day.
Multi-Day Admission - $25, Good for admission once per day, EVERY day, to The Fair.

Concerts & Events
There are also free live concerts & events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each week.
In 2011 this included Mr. C & The Cha Cha Slide, Chino Y Nacho, Luis Enrique, FCW Stars & WWE Wrestling, Sid the Science Kid, The Ready Set, Natalie Grant, Jerry Rivera, The Dirty Sock Funtime Band, Paper Tongues, and Ricky C.

Scholarships
To this day, The Fair has presented over $2 million in scholarships to high school graduates to help them financially with their goals for college education. Seniors are eligible for scholarships if enrolled in public or private schools within Miami-Dade County, but home-schooled students may also apply.[citation needed]
The non-renewable $2,000 scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors at an award ceremony during The Fair. With the scholarship, they can attend an accredited college, university, or trade school.[citation needed]
