A number of elections, both federal and local, are scheduled to take place in Mexico during 2009.

2009 Legislative elections

Legislative elections were held on 5 July 2009.[1] Voters elected 500 new deputies (300 first-past-the-post and 200 by proportional representation) to sit in the Chamber of Deputies for the 61st Congress.
