Métropolis is a major performing arts centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The Métropolis club is located in the central part of the city's downtown, on Sainte-Catherine Street between St-Dominique, and De Bullion Streets, in an area now known as the Quartier des Spectacles. The hall plays primarily to rock music groups.

Accommodating up to 2,350 people per concert,[1] the Métropolis club has been listed as one of the world's 100 best rock concert venues.

"Starting life as a skating rink in 1884, the Metropolis is now a prime showplace for traveling rock groups, especially for bands on the way up or retracing their steps down. It has recently hosted Joss Stone, Ween, and Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood. While it is primarily a concert venue that can hold up to 2,300 customers, it is also home to a small attached lounge, Le Savoy."[2]

Métropolis is within walking distance from Place-des-Arts metro station, the Complexe Desjardins in the west (as part of the Underground City) and from the St-Laurent metro station.
