But at the present time, the distinction was transferred to Caticlan Jettyport. With this metropolitan area, the two seaports will be designated as the major point of entries of those vessels trading and transporting passengers therein.
Kalibo Jetty Port
A Memoramdum of Understanding (MOU) between Aklan Gov. Carlito S. Marquez, Sacred Heart of Jesus Prime Holdings, Inc.(SHJPHI) and the Blue Chip Builders, Inc. (BCBI) has been entered into to jointly build tourism infrastructure facilities and develop Lambingan beach in Barangay Pook as an additional tourism destination in Kalibo.[1]
