Plot

This film was inspired by some famous English novel Love Story. It is a story of sad of a sad romantic girl who is a patient of cancer. She tries to hide this from her lover. Her family is unaware of this problem. They care for her.

This film was one of hit films of 1974. It is rated as on no. 6 top films of 1975 in Pakistan.

Chinese reception

This film is said[by whom?] to be liked by Chinese most. Chinese had made statues of Babra and Ghulam because of this film.

Nigar Award

It was awarded Nigar Award in 1975.

Soundtrack

The music of this film was composed by M. Asharaf who had composed music of 400 films. He was considered[by whom?] a great composer of punjabi movies. The songs were sung by popular singers of the time i.e. Mehdi Hassan Naheed Akhtar and Ahmed Rushdi.
