(Valenciennes, 1836)Striped Blenny, Meiacanthus grammistes, is a Blenny from the Western Pacific Ocean and Eastern Atlantic Ocean. The fish stays in the open saltwater ocean but travels into shallow saltwater and brackish estuaries. It occasionally makes its way into the aquarium trade. The fish is sout, deep-bodied with a pointed snout and long continues dorsal fin. It is brown with tan wavy bands stretches the length of its body. On the dorsal fin near the head is a small blue spot. It grows to a size of 10 cm in length.
