Mecca Espresso

Mecca Espresso is a coffee importer and roaster which also operates three espresso bars in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The first espresso bar, on King Street in Sydney's Central Business District, opened in 2005. The second espresso bar, on Alfred Street near Circular Quay in Sydney's Central Business District opened in 2007. The third espresso bar opened in 2011 on Harris Street in Ultimo.

In late 2008, Mecca Espresso King Street installed a new bar for Siphon Coffee, becoming one of the first cafes in Australia to introduce this brewing method for their Single-origin coffees.

In July 2009 the King Street espresso bar installed a Clover 1s, an extremely rare machine that produces filter style brewed coffee manufactured by the Clover Equipment Company, replacing Siphon Coffee as the preferred brewing method for Single-origin coffees. Siphon Coffee continued to be served at the Circular Quay espresso bar.
