McClean Avenue is a residential yet primary artery in the Fort Wadsworth, Arrochar, and South Beach neighborhoods in the New York City borough of Staten Island.

Major Intersections

Major intersections include: the orphaned section of Tompkins Avenue, Lily Pond Avenue, and Sand Lane. McClean Avenue runs parallel to Hylan Boulevard and Father Capodanno Boulevard, and provides easy access to the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.^[1]

Landmarks

Landmarks include Cespino-Russo American Legion Post #1544,^[2] the Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Rosary,^[3], and the New York City Housing Authority's South Beach Houses complex.^[4]

Transportation

The MTA provides NYCT S52 bus service from Sand Lane to Norway Avenue,^[5] and S53 service from Lily Pond Avenue to Sand Lane.^[6] The former South Beach Line of the Staten Island Railway past under but did not stop at McClean Avenue.^[7]
