Maxim Viktorov

Maxim Valerievich Viktorov (Максим Валерьевич Викторов) ^[1] is a Russian lawyer and politician, who worked in the Russian presidential administration. He was also the personal assistant to the presidency candidate, Dmitry Medvedev from 2007 until his Inauguration^{[citation needed]}.

Biography

Maxim Viktorov was Born in Moscow on June 22, 1972. He was Graduated magna cum laude from the Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov, in the Law Department.

From 1989 till 1990 was an officer of the Investigative Division of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the RSFSR. From 1991 till 1992 he passed a military service in KGB And Federal Agency for Governmental Communications and Information.

From 1992 till 1996 worked as Legal Assistant to the Chairman of the Moscow Region Government. In February 1998 was appointed the Executive Secretary of the Council for Banks and Bankir under the Governor of the Moscow Region. In 1998 was elected Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Regional election commission by the Governor of the Moscow Region. From 2000 till 2003 was member of the Commission of the Expert and Advisory Council for National Security Issues of the Federal Assembly - Parliament of the Russian Federation.

From 2005 till 2008 - Deputy Chairman of the Expert Council for Mass Communications under the Ministry of Culture and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation. From 2006 - member of the Foundation of His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent. Chairman of the Board of the Investment Program Foundation. Since 2006 - member of the Board of Trustees of the Moscow Suvorov Military School.

From 2007 till 2009 is a member of the Board of Trustees of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia. From 2009 - member of the Public Committee for Promotion of Russian Libraries.From 2009 - Chairman of "Union Magazine" Editorial Board. Has state and public awards. By the Presidential Decree was appointed a member of the Public Chamber of Russian Federation.^[2] he was worked in the Management of Sibir Energy company and was a personal adviser of Dmitry Medvedev, when he was a candidate to the Presidency.
