Mathaf, or the Arab Museum of Modern Art is a museum opened in Doha, Qatar on 30 December 2010 as part of the celebrations for Doha as the 2010 City of Arab Culture. The museum is located in a converted school in the Education City area of Doha and opened with an exhibition called Sajjil, which means "act of recording" in Arabic featuring a cross section of Arab art over the previous 100 years.
