Martin Andanar (born August 21, 1974) is a Filipino TV news anchor in TV5. He currently anchors Sapul sa Singko, Dokumentado and Andar ng mga Balita on Radyo5 92.3 News FM and AksyonTV, sister stations of TV5. He is also a voice-over of News5, AksyonTV, and Radyo5 92.3 News FM. He studied at Harvard University Kennedy School of Government, Georgetown University, Northern Illinois University, Asian Institute of Management and University of Ballarat. [1]

Personal Info

Early life

Besides broadcasting, Martin is a member of the faculty network of the Social Entrepreneurship in the Master in Entrepreneurship and Nation Building Course at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business in Rockwell.

Martin is an active community worker in Muntinlupa and Siargao teaching leadership capacity building and good governance. He is the founding chairman of Move My Muntinlupa Inc. and Sons of Surigao Youth Inc.

Martin graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Social and Political Studies & Film and Media Studies at the University of Ballarat in Australia. He finished his Master in Entrepreneurship at the Asian Institute of Management with honors and is an Alumnus of the Center for Non-Profit Leadership in Georgetown University, Washington, DC.

Martin recently became a Senior Executive Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government in Harvard University, Cambridge, Ma. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Public Administration at the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

Personal life

Martin lives with his wife, Alelee, and 2 kids in Manila. His sister Lia Andanar-Yu, whose also newscaster from ABS-CBN News Channel.
