Mark Peers (born 14 May 1984 in St Helens) is a professional footballer currently playing for Ashton United FC in the Northern Premier League Premier Division as a midfielder.

Playing career

Early career

Peers began his footballing career at Liverpool in 2001. He left for Raith Rovers in 2003. Peers got off to a good start at Raith by scoring on his debut[1] but was to make only another 4 appearances before leaving Scotland for Vauxhall Motors in 2004.

English Non-League

He would only remain at Vauxhall Motors for a couple of months before moving to Prescot Cables. He would remain there until February 2005 before moving to Leigh RMI, he would remain there until 2006 when he moved to Witton Albion, he would play more than 100 games and scored 17 gaols in one season.[1] He left for Fleetwood Town on the 17th of June 2008. He would remain there until February 2009, when he signed for F.C. Halifax Town. In the summer of 2010, he joined the newly reformed Chester on trial and scored a spectacular goal in a friendly win against Aberystwyth Town.[2] He later joined the club on contract.[3]

On 21 October 2010 he moved to Northwich Victoria.[4] and made his debut two days later against Burscough.[5]

Having played fifteen league and cup games for the Vics, on 12 June 2011 it was announced he had signed a 1-year deal with Evo-Stik Premier Division side Kendal Town.[6]
