Margaret Brown (film director)

Margaret Brown is an American director of film. She directed Be Here To Love Me: A Film About Townes Van Zandt a 2004 film which chronicles the often turbulent life of American singer-songwriter Townes Van Zandt. It was listed at #7 in a list of "50 Greatest Music Films Ever" in Time Out Magazine.

Brown also directed the feature documentary The Order of Myths a 2008 Sundance Film Festival selection about the segregated Mardi Gras celebration of Mobile, Alabama.
